Year One

Year One in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the first level of the game. It has ten chapters, three Achievements, and one Side Quest. Year One occurs in 1984 to 1985.

Plot[]

Year One introduced the player to basic game play. The player created their character. Then they visited Diagon Alley to acquire all the necessary things for their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While at Diagon Alley, the Main Character befriended Rowan Khanna.

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, the Main Character is sorted into their House. They discovered that Rowan was sorted into the same house as them. The Main Character met a Gryffindor student named Ben Copper, who was bullied by a Slytherin student named Merula Snyde for being Muggle-born. The Main Character stood up to Merula and defended Ben. The Main Character also befriended Penny Haywood, a Hufflepuff student.

The Main Character and their new friends began their search for the Cursed Vaults. They found a mysterious room in an upstairs corridor of the castle. They learned that the room was somehow connected to the Cursed Vaults and there was a coded message inside.
