Talbott Winger is a wizard who began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1984 and was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Talbott was born in 1972 or 1973. He was an only child. His mother taught him to become an Animagus, and Talbott took the form of an eagle. During the First Wizarding War his parents helped in the war efforts against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. In response, some Death Eaters attacked the Winger family's home and Talbott's parents were murdered. Talbott used his Animagus ability to escape.
Hogwarts Years (1984-1991)[]
Year One[]
Talbott quickly began excelling in Transfiguration. He also helped the Care of Magical Creatures Professor Silvanus Kettleburn tame a Hippogriff. Talbott wanted to become an Auror.
Year Two[]
Talbott was kidnapped in his Animagus form as Todd Cribb and Corrine Cribb had mistaken him as a pet. He stayed disguised as a pet during the kidnapping, then helped the Main Character and Merula Snyde defeat the poachers while still in his Animagus form. During the party afterwards, he revealed his involvement to the Main Character and thanked them for being a friend to animals everywhere.
Beyond Hogwarts[]
Upon graduating from Hogwarts, Talbott moves to Godric's Hollow.
Physical Appearance[]
Talbott had feathery, brown ombré, straight hair, dark skin, and striking orange eyes. He had pouty lips, thick eyebrows, a rather prominent nose, and an angular face. When he was younger, he kept his hair slicked back, but after his graduation from Hogwarts, his hair had grown out a bit more and he started wearing it looser. In his Animagus form, he took the form of a brown eagle.
Personality[]
Talbott was a remarkably skilled and intelligent young wizard who possessed many traits of Ravenclaw, in particular intelligence and individuality. He was academically minded, and was very passionate about his schoolwork as he wished to become an Auror. He had an interest in potions. He was also rather perceptive and intuitive, as shown when he warned the Main Character about bad things that were going on, implying he knew much more about the dark happenings that were going on than the average student did. He was also shown to be sarcastic and witty.
Talbott was known to be an extreme introvert and a loner. Before befriending the Main Character, his only friends were Penny, Tonks, and despite being the Head of Gryffindor, Professor McGonagall, due to her being a fellow Animagus and her previous work in the Ministry of Magic. Due to his reserved personality, Talbott often talked to himself. He was fairly aloof and cryptic. He was slow to trust others, mostly due to being an unregistered Animagus. As much as Talbott acted like he didn't care, he truly did. He spoke shortly and directly as a defense mechanism to cope with his loneliness. He was one of, if not the, most reclusive students at Hogwarts.
