The Sphinx Club was a club at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry founded by Skylar Flame in the 1800's. It accepted students with advanced skills in Astronomy, Charms, History of Magic, and Transfiguration.
Description[]
The Sphinx Club met in its Clubhouse located in Hogwarts Castle. The Sphinx Clubhouse had a portrait of Merlin, rows of bookshelves, a personal library, equipment for observing the stars, floating cairns, a Wizard's Chess table, and a portrait of Merula Snyde as a Puffskein. The libraries on the walls of the Sphinx Clubhouse contained manuscripts that were written by the various Sphinx Club members throughout the years.
In order to join the Sphinx Club, the player must reach Year 1, Chapter 3. Then they must do the introductory Achievement for the Clubs. It only has one task. The player may join any of the three clubs, or none. Once you join, you will get to earn experience points and other rewards. The Sphinx Club is associated with the color pink during tasks. Play Gobstones will award Sphinx Club XP.
As the player accomplishes certain levels, they obtain Energy from items in the Sphinx Clubhouse. They will be highlighted in pink when available. Clicking on them rewards the player with Energy, Coins, or Creature Food. These items include the portrait first seen upon entering the Clubhouse, the orrery of the solar system, the Puffskein portrait, the rat and teacup, and the Sphinx.
