Professor Pomona Sprout is a witch who was Herbology professor and Head of Hufflepuff House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Early Life[]
Pomona was born into a family deeply connected with nature, sparking an early interest in plants. At some point she became the professor of Herbology at Hogwarts. She teaches students about magical plants and their uses by guiding them through hands-on learning experiences. Her classes teach the technical care of plants, how these plants can aid in quests, potions, and duels.

Year Three[]
A Boggart appears in the Greenhouse during the Main Character's lesson on valerian sprigs. Professor Sprout uses the Boggart-Banishing Spell and then explains to the class what a Boggart is. She then dismisses the class so she could go speak to Professor Dumbledore about the incident.
Physical Appearance[]
Professor Sprout is a squat little witch with short, grey, curly hair. She frequently wears a patched and battered hat. Her clothes are almost always covered in dirt and earth, and her fingernails are quite dirty and filthy. Professor Sprout almost always has a smile on her face.
