Pitts was a house-elf employed at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He worked with the other house-elves in the Kitchens.

Early Life[]
Pitts was previously owned by a wizard or witch who treated him cruelly and gave him to the Hogwarts kitchens for next to nothing.
He was strict when it came to making sure other house-elves and students in detention did their work properly in the kitchens. According to Rita Skeeter, Jacob spoke to him shortly before his expulsion.
1984-1991[]
He also noted that Barnaby Lee had "an appetite like a Mountain Troll" and Hogwarts Kitchens had to increase their sandwich production.
During the 1990–1991 school year, Pitts became trapped in doxy eggs in the Kitchens during an infestation of doxies in the castle, and he had to be freed by the Main Character, Chiara Lobosca, and Victor Ketsueki, who also cleared up the doxy infestation.

Abilities and Skills[]
- Apparition: As a house-elf, Pitts was able to Apparate, even inside place that normally forbade Apparition, such as Hogwarts.
- Levitation: Pitts had the ability to levitate objects.
- Magical Tampering: Pitts had a talent for magically tampering with objects.
- Magical Blast: By clicking his fingers, Pitts could release powerful blasts of magic at others.
- Disarming: Pitts had the ability to disarm witches and wizards of their wands with a snap of his fingers.
- Magical Aptitude: Pitts had a very great amount of magical skill. Although house-elves are generally treated very poorly as slaves, they do have very powerful magic. House-elves do not need possession of a wand to cast spells or perform magical actions.
