The Manticore is a magical beast and one of the wizarding world’s most dangerous creatures. They can be bought in the Magical Creatures Reserve in the Rocky Mountains environment for 75 Red Notebooks, 25 Blue Notebooks, and 10 Gold Notebooks. The Magizoologist level you need to unlock this creature is Level 6.

The Manticore is affiliated with the Dark Arts. If the Main Character adopts a manticore, they will bond and feed it. Eventually this will lead to reaching a Max Level with the creature.
