Main Character also known as You is the playable main protagonist of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery developed by Jam City, whose name, gender, appearance, and Hogwarts house is chosen by the player.
Appearance
Your character's appearance is determined by the player of the game. In fact, the first thing you do, as the player, is choose your character's gender and appearance.
The female customization slides (excluding lips).
You first have the choice to change your face shape, as well as skin tone. After that, you can customize the shape of your characters nose. Then, you may change the shape and color of their eyes. The available colors for your characters eyes are black, brown, light brown, green, and blue. After that, you may change your lip shape, and color. Lastly, you have the ability to change the color of your hair, and your hair style. For female avatars, your hair style choices are a short bob with bangs, long hair with bangs, long cornrows, and a tied up short ponytail.
Male hairstyles and colors.
However, if you select a male avatar, you have the choice between different hairstyles. These hairstyles are, short generic hair, and short hair with two short bangs on both the left and the right side of the head. There are however, three hairstyles that need to be unlocked, by earning experience in the game. One of which (unlocked at Lv. 3) is short, with bangs. Another (unlocked at Lv. 3) is medium-length, that seems to reminiscent of Severus Snape's from the Harry Potter films. Lastly, there is a simple buzzcut (unlocked at Lv. 7).
Personality
The main character's personality changes depending on your choices. No matter what choices you make the main character shows determination to find their brother. They also show bravery to face whatever is found in the cursed vaults.
