Herbology is a subject and core class taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is one of the classes the Main Character takes in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Herbology Class is taught by Professor Pomona Sprout.
Description[]
Herbology Class takes place in the greenhouses located on the Lower Floor - East. Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi. In this class students learn how to properly care for and utilize different plants. They also learn about their magical properties and what they are used for. Many plants provided ingredients to potions and medicine, while others had magical effects of their own. Students are taught a few spells that are helpful for gardening, such as the Herbivicus Charm. Each year has its own greenhouse. For example, first-years take Herbology in Greenhouse One while third-years have Herbology in Greenhouse Three.
