Gobstones is a magical game mostly popular amongst wizarding children, similar to the Muggle game of marbles. The only difference between the two games is that Gobstones is played using special stones that squirt a putrid liquid at the player when they lose a point. Gobstones is a game the Main Character can play with friends in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
Description[]
The Main Character is introduced to Gobstones by Rowan Khanna in Year 1, Chapter 3. You will be given a series of sentences that you can pick from every turn. In this mini-game your goal is to distract the friend you are playing against. The better the sentence you pick, the more distraction you will create, and the fuller your Diamond Meter will become. In this mini-game, you have six turns to fill the Diamond Meter. One sentence will always be faulty, one will be acceptable, and one will be the best choice and will award you the most points. At the end of the mini-game, whether you have won or lost, you will earn Friendship points that go towards leveling up your Friendship with that character. You can always earn energy or Gems. The higher the Friendship level you have with a character, the higher the stats they will have, and thus it will make it harder to distract them.
