George, and his twin brother Fred, were born on 1 April 1978 in England to Arthur and Molly Weasley. He was one of seven children. He grew up in the Burrow on the outskirts of the village of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon. He was educated at home until he began attending Hogwarts. His younger siblings were Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, Ron, and Ginny.
