Professor Filius Flitwick is a part-goblin wizard, Charms professor, and Head of Ravenclaw House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Flitwick encountered numerous challenges at Hogwarts as a student. Some students were unkind to him because he was different, but he didn't let it break his spirit. Flitwick bravely defended himself whenever he was attacked. Other than his detractors, Flitwick was popular among other students and very dedicated to his studies.
After finishing his time at Hogwarts, Flitwick became a celebrated duelist. He has a shelf of dueling trophies in his office that he earned right after his school years.

Professor Flitwick, due to his goblin blood, was particularly short and frequently described as "tiny little Professor Flitwick."
Personality[]
Professor Flitwick was wise, thoughtful, kind, and accepting of everyone. He put his responsibilities at Hogwarts above his own desires. He very rarely talks about his past and his life in general. As a true Ravenclaw, Flitwick has kept on studying and learning new spells, even as a professor.
Abilities and Skills[]
- Charms: Flitwick was arguably one of the best and most knowledgeable Charms professors in the world. He was capable of conjuring a non-corporeal Patronus.
- Duelling: Flitwick was an immensely accomplished duelist. He participated professionally in a number of competitions and championships after his graduation before becoming a professor.
- Defence Against the Dark Arts: Flitwick had outstanding defensive abilities against even the greatest dark magic.
- Transfiguration: Flitwick was highly proficient in transfiguration, particularly the branches of Conjuration and Vanishment.
- Intellectually Gifted: Flitwick was exceptionally intelligent and an excellent academic achiever. He was highly shrewd and knowledgeable. Despite being a professor, he has kept on studying and learning new spells.
- Spell Creation: Flitwick had been able to invent new spells. The art of spell creation is both highly complex and can be dangerous, this showing Flitwick to have been a highly accomplished and inventive wizard in this respect. For example, he created a more powerful version of Augamenti that's usable as an offensive move in duelling, Aguamenti maxima.
- Dark Arts: Flitwick possessed a degree of skill in the Dark Arts, being capable of casting dark charms, hexes, and curses. He knew how to detect dark charms and had knowledge of how to break complex curses on objects.
- Wandless and Nonverbal Magic: Flitwick was remarkably proficient in casting nonverbal magic and wandless magic, a notoriously difficult skill.
- Conducting: Flitwick has the conductor of Hogwarts' Frog Choir and led the orchestra during the Yule Ball.

- Professor Flitwick wouldn't tell the Werewolf Capture Unit if he saw a werewolf because he believes they are victims and don't deserve to be trapped, persecuted, and destroyed.
