Erika Rath is a witch who started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1984 and was sorted into either Ravenclaw or Slytherin, depending on the Main Character's house.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Little is known about Erika's history before her time at Hogwarts. At some point she became acquainted with Gwenog Jones. Her father gave her a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages for birthday.
Hogwarts Years (1984-1991)[]
Year One[]
Erika's house depends on that of the Main Character. If the Main Character is in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin, Erika is sorted into Ravenclaw. If the Main Character is sorted into Ravenclaw, then Erika is in Slytherin.
The Main Character is introduced to Erika when Erika accidentally knocks into the Main Character, causing them to fall to the ground.
When the Main Character and Penny Haywood are watching a practice Quidditch match between the Main Character's house and Erika's house, Erika inadvertently hit a Bludger towards the stands. Skye Parkin takes the hit so that the audience wouldn't be hurt. While this saved the Main Character and Penny from potential injury, it allowed the Seeker for Erika's house to catch the Golden Snitch. This begins Skye's great dislike for Erika. It also results in the Main Character joining their house's Quidditch team as a Chaser.
Year Five[]
Erika's fans gift her a Nimbus 1700 broomstick after she's injured by the Wellnelly twins. At the end of the year it's revealed that the twins actually gave her the broom in apology for hurting her.
Beyond Hogwarts[]
Upon graduating from Hogwarts, Erika becomes a Beater for the Holyhead Harpies.
Physical Appearance[]
Erika has blue eyes, light skin, and long, pale blonde hair. She is notable for having an athletic build with very muscular arms. When not in her Quidditch robes, Erika is usually seen wearing black leggings with a slight tear in one leg, knee-high brown boots, fingerless gloves, and a sleeveless hoody in her house colors with a black long-sleeve shirt underneath.
Personality[]
Erika believes in speaking her mind and standing her ground. She's a rough Quidditch player, but not a cheater.
Abilities and Skills[]
- Flying: Erika is a highly talented and accomplished broomstick flyer. They are skilled enough to be selected for their house Quidditch team. They quickly mastered various flying techniques and developed knowledge of broomstick care.
