Dating is a component of Friendship in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Dating unlocks upon completion of the “First Date” Achievement, which is unlocked upon reaching Year 4, Chapter 8. Alternatively, you can complete Year 4, Chapter 9 to unlock Dating.

Participating in a Date is similar to other Friendship activities. It requires three correct answers from your chosen date. There are two Dating locations, Hagrid’s Garden and the Courtyard. Hagrid’s Garden awards 9 Romance XP for a successful date. The Courtyard is unlocked upon reaching Level 4 with a Character. Level 5 is currently the Max Level for Romance options. There are also some Achievements that award Romance XP towards the date you chose for the Achievement: Let the Festivities Begin! (10 XP), First Date (12 XP), Valentine’s Day (15 XP), Festival Fun (20 XP), and Valentine’s Day Ball (20 XP).
