Classes are very important in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. They are one of the main ways the player advances in the game.
Description[]
Classes give the player stars to unlock lessons in the various classes. Lessons are required to complete the chapters in each year. Completing lessons in classes is one of the main ways to earn Player XP, Club XP, Coins, Gems, House Points, Notebooks, Knowledge Points, Empathy Points, and Courage Points. Some of the classes are part of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry's core curriculum, while other classes are electives available from the third year through seventh year.
At the end of the fifth year, students take the Ordinary Wizarding Level exams, better known as O.W.L.s. These exams determine if a student will reasonably be able to keep up with the much more advanced curriculum in the next two years. At the end of the seventh year, students take the Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test, better known as N.E.W.T. The results of these exams are used by potential employers. Some classes can be dropped in the sixth year to allow students to focus on the classes they need for their chosen career.
