Beatrice Haywood was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Hufflepuff.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Beatrice was born in London, England in 1976 or 1977 to a Muggle father and a Muggle-born witch mother. She had an older sister named Penny Haywood who was born four years before her. Penny and Beatrice were very close in their youth. Whenever Beatrice did not like what she got from Christmas crackers, Penny always gave her her own. Beatrice had a tendency to wander off, and had gone missing at least once before her Hogwarts years.
Hogwarts Years (1988-1995)[]
Year One[]
hortly after the Sorting Ceremony, Beatrice met the Main Character, a good friend of Penny's. Beatrice was a big fan of the Main Character and wanted to go on a curse-breaking adventure with them. Beatrice gave them a toy Puffskein that she had made during the summer.
Beatrice ended up spending most of her first year trapped in a portrait due to the Portrait Vault curse.
Year Two[]
Beatrice spent most of her second year trying to cope with the trauma from the previous year and fending off an overprotective Penny. Beatrice became standoffish, pessimistic, and a daredevil after her ordeal.
Physical Appearance[]
Beatrice had a similar appearance to Penny. She had fair skin and blue eyes. Her hair was short and blonde. Her eyebrows had curved edges. During her second year she restyled her hair to resemble Ismelda Murk, styled to cover her left eye. Her hair color also seemed to change to a more platinum blonde. Her eyebrows also appeared to be thinner.
Personality[]
Beatrice was kind, friendly, affectionate, and excitable. She was a bit more adventurous and eager than Penny. Beatrice described herself as "cute but tough." After being trapped in a painting for most of her first year, her personality became a bit sullen and developed a rebellious edge. Beatrice became tired of her big sister watching over her. Beatrice became close friends with Ismelda, admired Jae Kim, and was excited to be sent to detention for the first time. After Rowan Khanna's death, Beatrice and Penny became close again, although not as close as before. Beatrice became more loyal and caring and less rebellious.
Abilities and Skills[]
- Potions: Beatrice was skilled in potion-making, as seen when she brewed Felix Felicis for the Circle of Khanna in her second year.
- Dark Arts: Beatrice possessed a degree of skill in the Dark Arts, as seen when she cast the hex Densaugeo with Ismelda's help.

- Beatrice had a cruse on Jae, who she saw as the ultimate "bad boy."
