Andre Egwu is a wizard who started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1984 and was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Andre's first time performing magic occurred a few years after nursery school. His parents were preparing for a trip to the park when Andre transformed the hat he was wearing from a fedora to a luxurious cashmere hat. He has been interested in fashion and style ever since.
During his childhood, Andre would occasionally meet with his cousin Jules Egwu when her family was in town. They had a friendly relationship despite her shy personality and difficulty making friends. His grandmother passed on to Andre his love of Quidditch and support of the Pride of Portree team. She bought him his broomstick.
Hogwarts Years (1984-1990)[]
Throughout their school years, Andre would put his sense of style to use in making outfits for the Main Character, and sometimes other students, to wear at special events. He would usually make a couple of different outfits and allow his friends to choose their favourite.
Year Two[]
Andre was asked by Madam Hooch to show the other students in his year how to Weave during Flying Class. Andre, Rowan Khanna, and the Main Character are in the same Transfiguration class.
Andre joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team initially as a reserve Seeker. He was exceptionally skilled at flying but was not good at playing as a Seeker. Despite this, he was considered the best Quidditch player at the school by some. Though, he himself thought that Charlie Weasley was better. He was among the team members trapped by cursed ice in the Quidditch Changing Rooms.
Year Three[]
Andre was asked by Madam Hooch to show the other students in his year how to Roll during Flying Class. Andre took Muggle Studies as an elective.
Andre properly introduced himself to the Main Character on their first Hogsmeade weekend trip, though they had met in Transfiguration and Flying classes before. During this year, Andre also revealed to the Main Character that despite what people had heard of him, he was only a reserve Seeker, not an actual player on the team.
Andre eventually became the Keeper of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, a position at which he proved to be more talented. He replaced previous Keeper, Brennan Doyle. Andre helped the Main Character when they were appointed a Beater on their House team. When the Main Character decided that they needed more training to have a chance to win the Inter-House Quidditch Cup, Andre suggested that they train with Erika Rath, despite their stormy history. The Main Character took Andre's advice, and eventually won Rath's respect. Andre sometimes joined them during training.
Year Four[]
Andre expressed needing new buttons for his cloaks during the Button to Beetle Transfiguration lesson. During the lesson on the Snake Summons Spell, he wondered if he would have been judged should he wear snakeskin trousers.
When Gwenog Jones and the Holyhead Harpies performed an exhibition at Hogwarts, Andre managed to secure two VIP tickets to the event. He invited the Main Character to attend with him. During the exhibition, the pair noticed that there was an empty seat reserved for Horace Slughorn and wondered why he hadn't turned up. When they asked Gwenog about it, she said she always sent him tickets but he never arrived, and she was getting worried about his safety. The Main Character and Andre promised to find him for her. After asking Professor Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, and Ambrosius Flume, they found Slughorn in Bathilda Bagshot's home. The Main Character impressed Slughorn, and he decided to organize a dinner with the Slug Club in the Three Broomsticks Inn. While the Main Character went to give invitations to guests, Andre designed an outfit for himself and the Main Character. During the dinner, Andre chatted with many of the guests there and impressed Slughorn enough that he offered him an invitation to join the Slug Club, which he eagerly accepted.
After the Main Character opened the Forest Vault and was investigating the ecological damage they had accidentally caused as a result, they asked Andre to create a necklace for a Red Cap as a distraction. Andre used magic to construct the necklace out of a gemstone, chain, and buttons.
Year Five[]
After finishing the Potions O.W.L., Charlie Weasley asked the Main Character for help, as Andre apparently didn't think revisions were needed. The three met up at the Three Broomsticks Inn, where Andre's dream to become a professional Keeper was revealed to be his reason for disregarding preparations for the exam. After the Main Character persuaded Andre to take the exam a little more seriously, the three chatted about careers over Butterbeer.
Year Six[]
Sometime during his sixth year, Andre became a founding member of the Circle of Khanna, a group devoted to avenging Rowan and locating the final Cursed Vault. It was at the group's first meeting in the Hog's Head Inn that he learned of the malevolent organization "R" and its motives to locate the final Cursed Vault before them.

Soon after graduating from Hogwarts, Andre is employed at Gladrags Wizardwear.

Andre has short black hair, dark skin, and handsome brown eyes. He also usually wears a Pride of Portree scarf.
Personality[]
Andre is vibrant and ambitious. He is stylish and athletic and is well-known for his charm, wit, and exceptional Quidditch skills. Andre fits in with his fellow Ravenclaws due to his unique sense of style and his passion for Quidditch. His talent and determination make him a key player on his house team. He spends his time practicing trick shots and refining his techniques. He is dedicated to his studies. Andre's goal is to play for a professional Quidditch team, and he works tirelessly to achieve this dream. Andre demonstrates bravery and loyalty when he helps the Main Character defeat the Cursed Vaults. He is always willing to help his friends look their best for various events.
Abilities and Skills[]
- Flying: Andre is a highly talented and accomplished broomstick flyer from an early age, quickly mastering various flying techniques during Flying Class and being proficient enough to be selected for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as Keeper. Some at Hogwarts considered him the best Quidditch player in the school, which clearly shows his impressive skill in this magical sport.
- Muggle Studies: Andre earned an O.W.L. in Muggle Studies and continued the subject at N.E.W.T.-level.
- Transfiguration: Andre is one of the most skilled students of Transfiguration in his year. Andre earned an O.W.L. in Transfiguration and continued the subject at N.E.W.T.-level.
- History of Magic: Andre earned an O.W.L. in History of Magic and continued the subject at N.E.W.T.-level.
- Defence Against the Dark Arts: Andre is known for excelling in Defence Against the Dark Arts.
- Tailoring Skills: Andre is skilled at making his own clothing. He was inspired by the Main Character and would often create outfits for them to wear to special events. He would usually make three different patterns and allow his friend to choose their favorite. Sometimes he also made clothes for others, like Ben Copper and Rowan.
