- Defence Against the Dark Arts: Dumbledore was knowledgeable and skilled in Defence Against the Dark Arts.
- Charms: Dumbledore was skilled in charm-work. He was capable of producing a corporeal Patronus, which is a highly impressive magical achievement given the difficulty of casting the charm.
